EASY THINGS YOU CAN DO TO NURTURE YOUR EARS

Because the ears and the function of hearing correlate with the Kidneys and Urinary Bladder, everything I previously suggested that you do to nurture these organs applies to the ears as well. So if you have any of the symptoms mentioned earlier, are experiencing tinnitus, finding it hard to hear what those around you are saying, or you are suffering from frequent earaches, be sure to seek medical help and also support your medical practitioner’s efforts by doing all that you can to nourish your Kidneys. This includes suiting up in all black clothing, eating more black-colored foods to increase the Postnatal Jing that supports hearing, and watching your salt intake as it can make you retain Dampness in your ears. Also be sure to:

Pull your collar up high or wear earmuffs, a hat, headband, or scarf to protect your ears from the various pathogens introduced to the body in Cold and/or Windy weather.

Wear noise-canceling earplugs or headphones when there is construction going on around you or if you must use loud equipment for work.

Enjoy some quiet time. Overstimulation of the sensitive ears can also overstimulate the other parts of the body they are connected to, generating both excessive Heat and anxiety. Allow your ears to rest a little each day.

Even if you have no such ailments, but you wish to give your overall health a boost, massage both ears in the morning to provide your organs with an extra push to get you through the day and again in the evening to help those same organs relax and recharge.

Massage the soles of your feet. The Kidney Meridian actually begins at the bottoms of the feet, so rubbing them or even stamping them will help get their energies moving, aiding all the organs in their path, including the ears.
